Key Verse: “ And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.” (1 Chronicles 15:29).
Bible Character: Michal
David danced for joy when the ark of the covenant returned Jerusalem. But his wife Michal watched him from a window and for her own reasons began to despise him.
Many factors can cause negative thoughts about our spouse to take root.
These may include fatigue, financial burdens, lack of communication, to name a few.
Focus on the good in your spouse while working together on problem areas.
Do not magnify minor irritations or let them led to serious conflicts.
Pray for God’s help to root out seeds of contempt, and thank God for your spouse’s good traits.
