1 Chronicles 28:8-10
Key Verse: “ And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and a willing mind…” (Chronicles 28:9).
Bible Character: David
As the king, David had the responsibility of choosing the next king.
As a father, he challenged his son Solomon to get to know God and serve him always.
Of the many lessons we can teach our children in preparation for adulthood, non matters quite as much as the challenge to get to know “the God of thy father” (v.9).
In preparing children for adult life, don’t only educate them and acquaint them with the social graces.
Challenge them daily to get to know God and serve him.

Teach Your Children To Know The God Of Their Father.
Prophetic Declaration.
- O LORD, help me to know you more and more in the name of Jesus.
- O God help my Children to know you as the God of their father in Jesus Name.
- Power for victorious living, fall upon my life in Jesus Name.
