When faced with the prospect of losing another brother and seeing his father’s heart broken even further, Judah boldly stepped forward and agreed to look out for Benjamin’s safety.

The marks of a leader include a willingness to take on serious responsibilities and a determination to keep one’s commitments no matter what the cost.

In difficult situations, do you tend to sit back and wait for others to act, or do you take initiative?

Can others count on you to fulfill your responsibilities?

Think of one unpleasant responsibility or task in your home or church that no one else seems eager to do-such as doing laundry, cleaning the church bathroom, fixing the car, discussing a problem with another family member.

Draw up a plan and tackle it today.
