Key Verse: “ And they sent the coat of many colors, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy sons coat or no.”(Genesis 37:32).
Bible Characters: Joseph’s Brothers.
Joseph’s brothers covered their guilt by selling Joseph and then convincing their father he had been killed by wild animals.
What they didn’t realize was how hard it would be to keep their secret hidden.
One lie requires others. As soon as you lie, you have to keep track of everything you say, afraid someone will find the truth.
Honesty is priceless. Make honesty a top priority, and protect those who tell embarrassing truths from being ridiculed or mocked.
