Genesis 13:1-12
Key Verse: “ But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”(Genesis 13:10).
Bible Character: Lot.
Lot had his choice of land and decided in favor of the then -lush plains of the Jordan River.
He was swayed by the material benefits of the area and ignored the notorious reputation of his neighbors, the people of sodom, a group throughout history synonymous to immortality.
People today say that the three most important factor in choosing a home are location, location and location.
We must consider the nonmaterial elements of any location and the effect of our choices will have on us and on our children’s ability to follow God, because the people we live near will influence us.
The community spirit, emotional climate, and potential for a support system must go into the decision to relocate, rent or buy a home. And more importantly, where you fellowship.
It is important to seek God’s Will in making decisions of location.
Thought For The Day: Your Location And Association Will Determine Your Spiritual Climate.
Prophetic Declaration:
1. O LORD, help me to know my divine location in Jesus Name.
2. Every spirit of sodom in my life and family, die, in the Name of Jesus.
3. Every enemy of my salvation, what are you waiting for, die, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
